Addie Andrews beyond the film set

Live bookings and an art-show appearance connect Addie Andrews’s public career with audiences outside the studio.

The California debut

The December 2019 Spearmint Rhino engagement in Oxnard was announced as Addie’s California feature-dance debut. The booking scheduled two performances on each of two nights, giving the appearance a specific place in her early live career.

The event combined stage work with photographs, autographs and other club activities. Contemporary coverage linked it to a period when interviews about her earlier life were also reaching a wider audience.

New York and Las Vegas

Sapphire 39 booked Addie for a December 2019 appearance in New York. In the announcement, she spoke enthusiastically about the city during the holiday season and about the welcome she received from its audience.

Later that month she was announced for Sapphire Las Vegas. The Lee Network was identified as her representative for feature-dance bookings at that time. The two engagements illustrate a live-performance schedule extending beyond a single local venue.

An anniversary at the art show

In February 2020, Addie joined Lacy Lennon and Charlotte Stokely among the Penthouse Pets announced for the opening of a Caligula anniversary exhibition at the L.A. Art Show. Their appearance was connected with Century Guild’s exhibition space at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The exhibition included previously unseen photographs by Mario Tursi taken during the original film’s production. Addie’s involvement was with the anniversary event and Penthouse’s public presence there. It was not a credit in the original Caligula cast or a claim that she worked on the restoration.
